What is a referral commission?

The referral fee is expressed as a percentage. This percentage is the portion of the final commission earned by the receiving side of the referral, if the referral results in a successful transaction.

The referral fee is negotiated between the two parties at the start of a referral being awarded and can differ from referral to referral.
