How do cross-brand referrals work?

When creating  a market (publicly visible) referral listing:

• If there are agents and offices in your brand who can apply, it will be exclusively visible to them for 5 days. On the 6th day, if the referral is not yet awarded to anyone in your brand, the referral listing will become visible to other brands' agents and offices and they can then apply.
• 
• If there are no agents and offices from your brand in your target market, then the listing will be immediately visible to other brands' agents and offices.
Please Note: Referral Leaders get a 24-hour head start on every public listing. This means that:

• Same-brand market referrals are exclusively available to Referral Leaders on the 1st day after it was posted. On the second until the 5th day, the market referral is exclusively visible to everyone in the brand.
• Cross-brand market referrals become available to Referral Leaders of other brands on the 6th day after it was posted. On the 7th day, it becomes available to everyone from other brands.
